Safety is one of the main priorities at Harmony Puppy.

To secure the safety of both kids and dogs, understanding a dogs body language is the very important. Species behavior and emotional needs of the dogs and families alike come into play. Kids and dogs can be a complex relationship. Different stages and ages of the children will need different levels of supervision and boundaries. That also holds true for the dog. If guardians go into the puppy/child, dog/child relationship based on a realistic expectation, everyone including the dog has a much better chance of success. The bond between the dog and the kids can grow into a beautiful relationship.

To help facilitate that relationship, Harmony puppy can give families the tools and support to help achieve such a goal.

Parallel Socialization

Appropriate example of parallel socialization.

Examples of inappropriate behavior.

Example 1 — dressing up dogs, cute but not appropriate. Body language on the dog shows tense brows, jaw, with ears back.
Example 2 — The child is using the dog as a pillow, big NO NO.
